Description
This painting shows a view of the English Walled Garden in The Chicago Botanic Garden. In the foreground, the lush foliage depicted with bold brush strokes create a warm, shady atmosphere. A pair of large, red terracotta vases in the center add a warming accent to the sun-lighted garden by counterbalancing the various shapes of leaves and green colors.
